Tuesdays 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Introduction to Pali

Let’s learn Proto-Buddhist Philosophy in Pali

Wednesdays 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Meditation Class in English (16th year)

Strict Silence to be observed throughout the temple premises during meditation sessions

Thursdays 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. “Buddha’s Word” Sutta Class (6th year)

During the Summer (starts from first week of June till end of August)

Fridays 7.00 to 8.30 p.m. Meditation Class and Dhamma Discussion in Sinhala

Monthly Programs

* Full Moon (Poya) Day Celebration takes place at the Centre from 9am to 6pm. Please click here for the Poya calendar. Highlights: Observance of higher (8) precepts, Buddha Pooja (offerings to the Buddha), meditation, Dhamma talks, Dhamma discussions, etc. will be conducted by our erudite resident monks. Please note that on this day all programs are conducted in Sinhala. For more details, call (905) 891-8412

* Annual Day of Recollection & Sil Observance for youths in July and August during the school holydays)

* Meditation in the Park, an annual public retreat, in the month of August

* Kathina Ceremony (marking the end of Rainy season and offering the robe and other gifts to the monks) in the month of October
